sapper756 Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 The season has ended for most, and now is the time pigeon men head off on holiday with their families, I myself am leaving tomorrow for a short break in London with the wifehttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif While we are away we rely on others to take care of our birds, who looks after yourse?and do you return the favour? I am fortunate, as the fifer steps up to the fore and always looks after my birdshttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif I also look after my club secretaties birds when he goes off a couple of times a year abroad. IT'S NICE TO BE NICEhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

Guest TrickyTree74 Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 Hi guys. On an earlier post someone asked about the benefits of being in a Partnership. I believe this to be a plus when it comes to holidays etc as one of us is always here to take care of the pigeons in the same routine while the other is enjoying a break. In saying that Rab will have his orders when i disappear off to America later this year lol. Andy
alex young Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 Looking after a mates birds this week, its no problem he hopper feeds but when he looks after mine my feed is measured so its a bit of a pain for him with the birds spread over 4 sections.

NOT REALLY THAT MUCH OF A PAIN AS MY MATES DOOS ARE IN 2 SEPERATE LOFTS AND GET MEASURED AMOUNTS I ONLY MEASURE IT THE 1ST DAY THEN THEY GET ROUGHLY THE SAME AMOUNT IN THE CAN EVERY DAY AND JUST NOW MINE GET AS MUCH AS THEY WANT SO IT WILL BE EASY FOR HIM AND I WILL SEPERATE THE DOOS BEFORE I GO ON HOLIDAY AND THAT WILL MAKE IT EASIER FOR HIM AGAIN
