JADE Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 SNFC clock rule 8a. In YB race clocks MUST be checked on day birds are timed. Where clock has not been checked member to contact secretary by phone and be directed to checking station. Committee to decide if reasonable for failure to carry out this rule. SNFC clock rule 1a. Electronic timing systems will be governed by SHU rules. The SHU passed a rule which allows a Progress Report to be printed if a race is carried over to the second day so that a record of "day" birds is obtained on the first day
airdrie2 Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 AS DELBOY STATES YOU CAN GET A PROGRESS RESULT AND AS LONG AS YOU DONT CLEAR THE RACE ie STRIKE OFF YOU CAN CONTINUE TO CLOCK BIRDS FROM THE RACE BUT ONLY WHILE YOUR CLOCK IS IN THE DOCKING STATION IN SOME MODELS ALL THE BEST TO EVERYBODY RACING LIGHTEN UP BOYS FOR THE BETTER OF THE SPORT ALL ETS HAVE GPS OR RADIO CLOCKS SHOULD BE NO VARIATIONS BUT IF THERE WAS IT WOULD STILL SHOW UP AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS FOR THE BETTER OF THE SPORT AIRDRIE2

frank-123 Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 its in the rule book frank. well if its on the wall telling members the wrong time maybe they think the rule has been changed bearing in mind john houston and jim hannah were at the marking station both president and vice president so will all members be contacted due to a mistake on the part of the snfc
Delboy Posted September 12, 2010 Author Report Posted September 12, 2010 I totally agree with you Frank but I know Jim Hannah and John Houston have tried to remedy this mistake by contacting as many people as possible. John Houston asked me to put it on PB and to contact as many people as possible. I also think, if anybody didnt find out in time and decided to return their clock tomorrow, this would be looked at by the management committee with a degree of compassion. I also believe the clock rules should be addressed at the next AGM, so changes must be put in writing to secretary by 31st Oct.
