blucock Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 Ayrshire and Ballochmyle federations are at Consett this coming weekend, has anyone heard the three feds are liberating together with Ballochmyle controlling the race??? Is this a good idea, and who/when was this decision made by?
bibendium Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 Ballochmyle are definetly at Consett this coming week but have not heard anything about a joint liberation.
JohnQuinn Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 Never heard a word about this either, though i wouldn't object to it.

Hi John, duty rumour atm as I believe that Lanarkshire dont have a race the week before the YB national and Ayrshire are at Ripon. Shall see if it comes to anything, maybe the jungle drums rattling?? Baz
Guest Davy Fleming Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 If you think that a joint liberation is on the cards with Ballochmyle controlling it you must be having a real laugh and that's no disrespect to them. They might agree to go together but never in a million years will Lanarkshire allow someone else to control it.

Baz Hi Baz, do you think the Ayrshire Feds would take trainers from Lanarkshire to their Ripon race, as you are correct that we have a weeks break between our last race and the National?

Novice Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 I certainly have never heard this rumour but would have felt that fanciers should have been informed in advance to allow them to choose a team to suit the circumstances.I shall certainly enquire tomorrow.

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 If Ayrshire are sitting along side Lanarkshire then you cant stop one fed liberating along side the other if that is there wishes and no point fanciers getting there knickers in a twist as it has been done with plenty of Scottish feds in the past including Lanarkshire. Dont see what harm it can do for any fed. JMO

Would be good to hear if this has come from officials of any of the feds concerned or if it's been mooted....
