Painting in side loft

Hallo everyone,been hunting for the aswer but no luck.I know pigeon princces asked about painting nest boxses,can i use loft white mixed in water to do inside walls ?or even new lyme mixed?

painted mine and its the sorryest thing i ever done .. every few months now it needs redone .. shows all the droppings more .. nightmare !!

How much lime and water do you mix together ?

in the beginning i used to paint but it becomes another chore you can do with out last two lofts never had a lick of paint one is ten years old and i just rub it down twice a year with a cloth n bleach water
