greenlands Posted August 10, 2010 Report Share Posted August 10, 2010 How far have they been trained,what type of terrain are they flying,how old are they,when training have they been coming in a flock or broken up,have you plenty just incase of a bad toss and can you rely on the weather.Years ago it would have been no problem,now fanciers are loosing well trained pigeons from 50 mile.You pays your money you take the chance these days.Lindsay Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
gd Posted August 10, 2010 Report Share Posted August 10, 2010 no not too far at all , mine will have their first race this weekend about that distance , they have missed the first 3 races , first 2 were 85 mile and 3rd was about 115 mile , I expect them to do it without any issues.
