not going on the darkness may not see the end of y/b season as they are falling to bits

I learned that the new stock i got over last 2 years are not as good as what i had previously On the bright side i learned i've got something special in my team

On the darkness front, my yearling darkies never done a thing so will have to keep an eye on that.

On the subject of feeding, the stuff i used in the 2nd half of the season is much better than that of the 1st half.

I also learned that some men are no what i thought they were!!

sending to the channel!!!!!

raced cocks and hens this year both coming very very well. decided 1 team would be the channel team. these was the cocks. scored first channel race. but took a hammering. scored second channel race, took another hammering. sent to third race. totlly wiped the cock bird team out. hens didnt want to no then.

lesson learnt. leave the channel alone!!!!!!!!its a different ball game!!!!!!!!!:lol::lol::lol:

maybe so budgie but the lanarkshire fed does not compare to timing a cracker at the no1 race of the year the snfc gold cup reims. ;)

There has been a few races this year where I've removed my pocket ETS clock after timing 4, 6 or 10 birds, where if I had left it in the other birds would have been positioned high in the top 20 of the Fed.

These birds have missed out on good Fed positions.

Hopefully I'll not make the same mistake next year!!!!

Sending all my experienced birds to Bourges was a big mistake. Ive not seen a feather yet, this is the first race in many years that I havent returned my clock. Even the Rennes disaster of 1997, I got 3/4 home Anyway, I hope some work there way in <_<

great point alf,the legend jock allan asked me years ago if i thought my birds required the training for the last national that i was giving them??? i then asked him the question  and was told after a long season most of the birds going to the last race had done enough roadwork,i took his advice and have a good batting average at the last water race. ;) ;) ;) ;)

MY 1ST 2 DOOS FROM REIMS HAVE PAIRED THE GITHER SO I'LL BE TAKING THE Y/B'S AFF THEM AS I WANT AS MANY LONG DISTANCE LINES IN MY LOFT AS I CAN GET AND YES DEREK AND JOHN I KNOW NOW MAYBIES I TOOK THEM TOO FAR BETWEEN THE RACES   :(
