slim45 Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 HOW SOON DO YOU THINK YOU CAN PUT A BIRD BACK ACROSS THE CHANNEL
PIGEON_MAN Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Suppose it depends how hard the previous race was,our channell races are every fortnight so I tend to send them back after the weeks rest but then our furthest fed race is only 354 miles.
Shortcut Lofts Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Depends on previous race and distance. Wnen our old birds hit the channel they stay on the channel for 5 races. 192mls, 192mls, 261mls, 301mls, 304mls, 448mls, over water every time. You have to look at the milage the bird has flown and the race conditions it flew in. If it was a relativley easy race they should go back.
