Cheers guys will try them.

Let my ybs out the night and they are gradually flying more and more but because I'm letting them out longer they are sitting about the gutters picking at things.

I think it mite be coz they are getting a light feed in the morning then the rest at night but a really don't like them sitting eating crap any suggestions

dont feed in the morning when they land on the roof call them in and feed them as much as they want they lift the feed away when the first bird goes to the drinker and not coming in on time no feeding be the boss

What's happens if they fly out and straight to the roof just call them straight back in

i would not allow mine on the roof at all so i would call them straight back in the only place you want them is on your loft roof

i allow mine on the roof but if i see them near or picking at the gutters i throw a ball at them so they either take off or ill call them in but im training now so they dont sit around to long as soon as theyre back i get them straight in i have 25 young birds they get 14 ounces of depuritive in morning now and evening they get 16 ounces of basic all round feed

well dont be chucking anything at them yet theyre still getting used to the area but try not to let them eat out of the gutters it cud end up more trouble than its worth call them down soon as they get near it

Had my young birds out just there and it only took fifteen minutes for them to fly to the roof and start picking at the gutters so i just shouted them down for there feed not sure if i should have just left them up there because they really havent started flying at all yet and out of the nine that i have 3 dont even come out the loft but the other 6 are straight out could this be anything to do with they came from a different loft and a bit later on than the others

let the ybs out today all they done was sit about the roof picking and they werent coming down when i was calling them took an hour and half to get them down and ones missing aswell :(
