Help With Printer

[Guest strapper]

printer has stopped printing for no apparent reason was working fine last time i used it 2 weeks ago.

makes all the printing noises but no print out.

new ink.

any help much appreciated ..thanks paul.

Hi Paul

Have you checked the ink cartridges are in correctly, I know with mine if they are even slightly loose it will not print.

Have you changed the ink cartridges since the last time you used it? some cartridges have a protective covering over the ink outlet.

Hi Paul, what make of printer is it,if it's a epson download ssc prog.and install then use it to check your inks etc..

go into menu and put it on clean, this could be the problem if not used for a while the ink on the outlet of the catrige could be dry

hi the printer does everything that its normally doing ,even making the noise as the ink cartridges go across the paper.

the only thing is it isnt printing but i did a test print and it printed coloured lines .

i did have a friends child try to put paper in the top ,but didnt succeed as his mother caught him..maybe he has damaged something?

 

but as i said..everything is working fine but the printing of text...but i tried wizard, printed out a text saved in my files but not clearly?

Sounds like a driver error. Uninstall and setup again if youve got driver disc or file frae internet
