With reports of a lot of tough races this weekend, and most being as late as a Sunday liberation, how has this affected birds that were going to the first SNFC inland race this weekend from Bovingdon? Have had to change your plans? what are doing to build such birds up, ready to go to basketing on Thursday?

Thank Youhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

Ive never sent the doos to inland national that were at race previous week.I prefer them to be at race week before that, a couple of chucks then rest ;)

Dont think it should be much of a prob for the birds that returned in good time on sunday 6-7 hours. The bouncebackability of the doo always impressive.Going tae send my first two and four that a kept at hame.

I kept the birds I intended sending to Bovingdon out of Sunday's race. I trained some of them last Friday morning, and again tonight. I'll probably miss tomorrow (if the forecast heavy rain is correct) and go again on Wednesday morning.
