Pigeon Basics Low Members

i joined this site last year and pop in and out but have not been here in over amonth

i have notice only a few members here now each time i log on.i think because site has

changed it format people are gone else where like pigeon chat etc.has anyone else noticed

this here very curious

there was a drop in members no doubt but the more people are useing the forum the easier they are finding it im not sure how many members were on tonight but i do rember in the last few nights there was 90 members plus on

 

there is a number of websites out there something to suit everyone

This will be in my own eyes the number wan pigeon site, each to there own i suppose.

 

 

This site is going from strenth to strenth, and there is a few changes, but give it time, and alls will be well.

I found when the site first changed over that the new layout caused some problems finding differnt articles but after a while I now find it easier than before.Like all things new it takes a liitle getting use to.

ive been rushed of my feet and not been posting mutch on any forum however when i came in at 1030 last night the was 68 on banter 53 on chat and 21 on here i dont think its the layout basics been going down for ages in my view

At the moment there are 59 on here and 40 on another site you previously mentioned, but these are just numbers, it,s the quality of the threads and the enjoyment individuals get from them, that I believe is important, new members still joining this site every day, 3 so far todayhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

 

Another thing that should be taken into account if people insist on comparing site numbers, is that this site keeps active users names up for 15 minutes after they have logged off, others keep names up for a whole hourhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif so hardly a true reading.JMO

I think this time of year (racing season) is always quieter than the winter time for forums. This forum is as good as any of them. I use mainly two, this one and a smaller one, and havnt been on the "other" big one for months, contrary to belief of some i do not use an alias!! I have nothing to hide, and not afraid to use my real name, its a shame a few are not the same, and if they have a problem with me my phone number is on nearly every forum i am or even was a member of!!

for me i prefer this site by a country mile, only thing i dont like is the dam google advert colum down the right hand side of the page!! bloody pest of a thing?? gripe over, like other members have said everyone to their own, pretty much all our clubs in our fed with the exception of one post their results here and for me working offshore i can see how the clubs are doing result wise without phoning half the fed to get sketchy race results!! god send for me
