arrived at 6.30 am overcast at present visiablity good looks like it will break to the better

watered most of the birds dipped their head looking for a 8.30 a.m liberation

Looks like the BOP have done the damage to the small convoy that was sent today, got 2 of the 5 sent with the first one having damage to her wing and the second one with half her tail feathers out :angry:

aye had to hawked at training from dalkeith today and 4 awal :angry:

No result yet, but its close between N.Peacock and J.Boyle for 1st open as far as i know.

tough race cant see a re-run next year sadly

 

Don't see why not. every chance it would be a better result for the organisers. S**T Happens. The fed race on Saturday was tough as well, but we'll be racing this week again. I for one hope its on next year.

Stick at it is my advice. We started this with youngsters and yearlings midweek (ring no's nominated prior to the first race of the season, max 5 per loft) 8 years ago from Newark 220 miles, started timing in for fun so we decided to race from Harlow 315 miles this season (last week) only 15 on the day but doing 43mph. Remember one swallow doesnae make a summer. and my favourite: If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you always got. Good Luck Andy..
