sapper756 Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 Been very busy myself, cleaned out all the lofts, all race birds out and bathed, young team have had their freedom all day, cut the grass, painted a recently fitted vent pipe to be the same as the rest of the house. JohnQuinn Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 Cleaned the yb's loft today, usual Sunday task. Filled the bath and they all used it, young and old, then fed them in about 2pm. Since then i've had ma feet up and tonight i'm off to the Lesmahagow club room for the annual sale. Always good stock on offer at it.

Guest bakes Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 sorted my birds out this morning fed them then most of the day been doing pics montages for a few mates and members off a few sites im on got to try get my dinner now thats been sat in oven waiting for hours misses going mad as wonted to get them pics done before i set off for work tonight at 11 knackered before i even start my 12 hr night shift doing nothink tomorrow other than letting yb's oldbirds out scrape lofts out feed them then let them out later on in evening if the misses is about she can do it for me last two days all ive seen is photo editing software and cutting around pics of birds but all 100 single pics and 50 montages done thank god not doing much tomorrow might go and do abit of ferreting with my ferrets up local lanes proberly end up takeing my terriers with me to keep them entertained for a few hours bushing the hedgerows other than that and sorting to my birds doing nothink else as my only day off this week in the rst of the week on shifts all the best.
retired Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 Cleaned Lofts out and rung a few more babies in the stock loft, did some concreting inbetween the lofts ready to build aviary this coming weekend. Weaned a few babies from the stock over into YB loft and several more tomorrow Put the babies through the traps a few times to try and educate them and then had them out for a hour with the bath. Hope to get them out at least once more in the next 7 days but who knows
Guest youngboy Posted May 9, 2010 Report Posted May 9, 2010 fed birds at 8.00am and changed stock birds water, and also taiming younbirds this morning and then brought the little niece down to show her birds when she woke up. then left youngbirds 4.00pm and cleaned all water and left down grit and minerals, weighted out food and watch me biggesr ever team of 33 ybs flying around loft what a stunning sight and called them in for a feed a 5.30 a trapped not a bother then took away feeders at 6.10

Guest mick bowler Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 What was i at? getting even more disheartened. Another strike another missing and not the ones i want to go missing either! I had 7 birds out all day yesterday, any of them would of made a "perfect" meal for percy, but as he had not been about i let my proper YB team out at 8.30pm and bang, there he was.
