i seperated hen from,what i thought,a hen,,,,birds not in contact with any other bird,she immediately laid two eggs,as i thought would be infertile allowed her to sit,she will and still does defend her nest with utmost viscous intent,,,,to my surprise,one egg hatched,baby now 3-4 days old and still defends nest like a wild tiger,,,,,,anybody hear of this before?  ted

you silly woman,i know that,,,,,,the point was,,,the hen bird laid and sat and hatched and bringing up young by herself,no help from cock bird,,,,,,,,,or you taking mickey? smack hands,,,ted
