I did not advise Mr D on the 5th of August or any other day

On race days we possibly talk 4 or 5 times and the day after about 2/3

Thats what friends do

I have 7 websites for weather including   onlineweather,  met office, steve appleby

bbc, prodata, but have about 30 weather stations I can get direct access to

I delete all offline content every 7/10 days so I cant honestly tell you what sites

I looked at on 5th August. But I did look and saw no problems One I would have

looked at was Billingham South of Newcastle

did you think the race controller did a good job on the 5th of aug ?

do you think his report of the 5th of aug is a very good detailed report or a poor report?

 

after the report from r strong at hexham not to go the birds were liberated 5 mins later was this wrong or right?

 

j lennon states at 11.00 he was 12 miles from penrith he had seen mist at brough  for 1 mile he could see for miles

solway fed held at shap till 12.00 due to bad weather(mist) if i remember correctly that is very close to brough

 

do you think not checking the line of flight from scotch corner to otterburn a distance of 50 miles was wrong?

 

if the controller gets it wrong dont you homer 49  think an apolgy would have been a good idea?

this post seems to have gone on endlessly. what has been done has been done. the officials have tried their best. their best has been good enough for years now so why no let things rest. it is foolish to use all your energies trying to solve something that has already happened and therefor cannot be changed. i am sure the people in charge are no fools and no what they are doing. you will see that all will work itself out in the end. the race controller has done a marvellous job for many years now and it seems rather harsh to lambast him for one race. the report shows that another six feds let go so this would imply that the weather was suitable. it would be best for all to move on and forget this issue. it would be foolish to continue to cause unrest and bad feeling. the birds were liberated in good faith. the controller was only doing his job.

but we can change the future of lanarkshire federation by turning up at the agm and voting off and electing new officials as the old guys have mismanaged the federation for a long time there is never any consultation with the members or new ideas on how we should progress or any  apologies if there has been a mistake made people might just have backed down a little

 

but the apology never came just the opposite only to rile the membership tammy was taken before the delegates but his case was dismissed  when really mr durning and lennon should have been there instead of tam

this will be my last post on this i will wait to the open meeting on the 5th of Oct. in hamilton

followed by the agm on the 25th of november in newmains

the meeting on the 5th october is it open to all of central scotland east and west. are youse trying to set up a bigger combine .more members on the transporter more chance of improving the transporter as more money would be availble. i could see a lot of interest over here. would it no have been better to have the meeting outside lanarkshire and in bigger venue.

i have been asked to pass a message on to bart,alf, wings that the bar is going to be closed while this meeting is taking place in case they get drunk and try to cause a fight and i would advise no one to join in with wings becauase he just sits a barrel up on end and puts a hose in and after the first barrel he does tend to slow down and don't ask him what he wants to drink because thats the answer you'll get ,just get me a barrel of heavy to start with, then you get alf when you go out with him hes got a special pair of trousers made where the pockets are sewn in to the hem at the bottom so he cannae reach the money,and bart well theres nae point even asking him to buy a drink because his wife just gives him £2 and tells him just kid them on you have no money dear and they will feel sorry for you as usual
