pigeon basic one loft race

wondering if it would be possible to hold a one loft race just for members of PIGEON BASICS if anyone has the facillitys to house them

I AGREE, THAT'S A VERY GOOD IDEA, IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF THEY ARE HOUSED WHERE E,T,S, IS BEING USED SO WE CAN HAVE TRAINING RACES  ETC. AND KEEP CHECK OF OUR BIRDS PROGRESS.

We have had a one loft race on the old forum before Richard started pigeon basics the birds were housed at a loft in Sunderland i cant remember how much it was for entry Richard might be of more help.

Who ever has it,they have to spend some time on updates to make it a good race. Not as much work as you think unless you never kept 100 birds. The feed and entry and shipping is what costs.. If I can do it I'm sure someone there could,lol Just need an empty loft to start. and make the rule that all entries get there with in 30 days of 1st to last bird.

i think its a good idea id be up for it,will there be an auction afterwards aswell so ppl can buy the birds??

hi  im just wondering [ I DO A LOT OF WONDERING] if we could not get anyone on the forum to house the birds those of us wanting to enter could all send a bird to another one loft race and have our own race through duplication

maybe pay a extra fee for prize money

just wondering as i have never entered one and have no idea of the cost

As a matter of interest, I wonder how many people on this forum sent to a one loft race this year  and whether or not they would send to one next year?

If i can remember we charged £30 each entry Charlie from sunderland who raced the birds got a percentage of the entry money to feed and train the birds we paid out 3 prizes the winner was Stevie Barbour from scotland when Richard comes on the forum he will remember im sure
