ken buchanan did get an ets to trial his own words cant believe it would belong to the shu more likely to be free demos from unikon who were trying to get it passed in scotland at the time

 

as he no longer uses ets why don't you ring him up and ask if it is available for a young or disabled  fancier as he is a very generous man from my own experience  i am sure he would help anyone out

 

or point these young or disabled fanciers in the direction of some of the clubs in lanarkshire who through the awards for all have purchased ets systems for all there members and future members  to use free of charge apart from the rings

I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO ADD THAT WHEN MY SON FIRST STARTED WITH BIRDS KEN BUCHANAN SUPPLIED HIM WITH ENDLESS AMMOUNTS OF YOUNG BIRDS FOR A FEW YEARS UNTILL WE WERE ABLE TO SUPPLY OURSELVES AFTER WE HAD BUILT UP A GOOD TEAM, ME AND MY SON WERE ALSO INVITED DOWN TO HIS LOFTS ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND NOT ONCE DID MY SON COME AWAY EMPTY HANDED, KEN IS A WEALTHY MAN AND I HAVE NO DOUBT HE WOULD NOT KEEP SOMETHING THAT DID NOT BELONG TO HIM AND AS BART SAYS IF ANYBODY THAT NEEDED THE ETS SYSTEM HE HAS ALL THEY WOULD DO IS HAVE TO ASK AND AM SURE HE WOULD GIVE IT TO ANY NEEDY PERSON, AND AS YOU ALSO HAVE PLENTY CASH ALEX YOU SHOULD BUY ONE SYSTEM AND GIVE IT TO A NEEDY YOUNG LAD, OUR FORMER SECRETARY IS IN WALES SOMEWHERE AND HE HAS ONE IF YOU WANT TO ASK HIM TO RETURN HIS

the place to enquire would be the shu. they as the guardians of the systems should have records of the set up. who owns what and how much they cost. it is good the Ken has highlighted the fact that the systems are strewn accross scotland. here there and everywhere. maybe the answer is blowing in the wind. this highlights the complete lack of management of the situation. why does this not surprise me. i am not jealous

forgot to mention Ken has given and gifted hundreds of pigeons to new starts,and fundraisng events all over the UK. no charge. this is not the action of someone looking for self gain. it looks as though some of the posts are poorly thought out and that there is a good degree of malicious intent within them. i believe anyone who does not personally know Ken will gather through the other postings what the real picture is.
