ribble Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 couldn't say,a lot of great flyers have never even entered national races.

Guest Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 Me never herd of him lol what fed is he in
Dougie Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 He is logged on Clockie. Me that is
Roland Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 I think three names crop up... The first unless he moves never will Frank Bristow. The second possibly the greatest flyer never to be recognised, certainly a fornominal flyer, Gary Edmunds. And unless I am mistaken, I don't believe him to have won one yet Chris Balsam, a man that stays ahead of the tims... puts the effort in and the cash to back his mouth, so that should be just a matter of time. Distance wise I think Barry Andrews will eventually win one too. Hope I am right for they have all done a lot for the sport in one way or another too!
Wiley Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 Frank Bristow, i agree with roland a very good flyer, spoke to him at blackpool aswell offers brillant advice
yearling Posted September 27, 2006 Report Posted September 27, 2006 i think tom sherwood must be one of the unluckiest twice 2nd saintes n.f.c two years on the trot same pigeon too
Guest TAMMY_1 Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 mark cawdwell, must be up there as one of the best flyers never to win a national. i dont think he has even entered one WELL THERE'S NOT MUCH CHANCE OF HIM WINNING ONE THEN IS THERE DID YOU POST THIS FOR A LAUGH ?
terry mac Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 it was a bit of tounge in cheek. but if you cant laugh buddy then its a sad life, but i think mark is one of the top men in the sport, with a couple of r.p,r,a. awards to back it up

blackjack Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 How about Geogre Colthorpe on the north and Dick Baldwin and Vic Preddy on the south no big lofts or big money just damn good stockmen .
Guest Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 Way too many to mention ... which shows just how fiercely competitive National racing is (and should be). Just to correct an earlier posting whilst Eric & Pat Cannon were famed for their Pau National pigeons they DID actually win the Young Bird National in 1990 with their Blue Hen 'Culmer Marion' beating 9340 pigeons.
Matthew Posted September 28, 2006 Report Posted September 28, 2006 WELL THERE'S NOT MUCH CHANCE OF HIM WINNING ONE THEN IS THERE DID YOU POST THIS FOR A LAUGH ?
