all went to blackpool yesterday, was a bit dissapointed i couldnt find the pb stand or stuarts :-/ must have been everywhere else ten times!! so im sorry to all those i was supposed to meet, to give me rings etc  :B , i really wanted to meet you all paulo im sorry for missing your call friday night, but havent got your number to phone you back! did you phone me from a phonebox in blackpool? tried to ring the number back straight away, but did nt accept incoming calls . blackpool was packed, busier than last year. all the best to everyone and once again sorry :-/

I managed to get a couple of hours there yesterday ;D but like pete says, didn't see anyone with a pb badge I found the pb stand but no one was there and found swilcox but he was busy with customers so I didn't disturb him.it was very busy and I didn't buy anything.

i was up there met a few by the stand greengrass,rose,wiley,tony c,stuart wilcox,speckedhen,saw sammy in passing, back up this morning met up again with same group also ace n uncles,saw jumbo,as i came down alf was away with his missus later met henrick................

met pompey mick it was mick that got me my badge cheers mick only saw sapper, wee fifer never saw anyone else with a badge though what happened did they all just put them in there pockets ,over all i was a bit dissapointed with the show a think it is gradually going down hill what  you all think.

Hey sammy agree with you, was a few empty pitches!! did nt seem to have the same atmosphere as last year, certainly could nt spen all weekend actually at the show :-/ will be going on the sunday next year, is it as packed then?

Just got home from Blackpool,

 

What a great weekend i had, bumped into loads of the lads from Kent,

 

ALSO FOUND THE SITE'S STALL SHARED WITH THE RPRA,

SPOKE TOO RICHARD AS WELL, HAVE TO SAY HE IS DOING A GREAT JOB WITH THIS SITE.

 

ASLO BUMPED INTO A COUPLE OF CRACKERS AT THE STOOL

( ENOUGH SAID ABOUT YOUNG WILEY HIS DAD AND TONY C  )

ALSO PRESANT WAS ROSE AND SPECKS, ( MORE FRIGHTING IN THE FLESH )

WE SOON MOVED OVER TOO THE BAR  AS SPECKS WAS FEELING A LITTLE DRY

AND SHE FROG MARCHED OVER TO BUY HER A DRINK.

SPENT THE REST OR THE DAY CHATTING AT THE BAR AND THE OCASIONAL DRINK

PASSED OUR LIPS.

THANKS FOR MAKING THE WHOLE WEEKEND WORTH THE DRIVE,

AND I FINISHED THE DAY HAVING TEA WITH TWO WONDERFULL PEOPLE

Got home at 5pm today.  Were you hiding from me then Ray, ? met up with all the people you mentioned and even picked my badge up from Richard but missed you but of course I'm not used to being at the bar so perhaps that's the reason you missed me.

Rose, Specks, Wiley and Tony C popped into our Hotel and I'm sure they would agree that they saw a cracking show on Saturday night.  I know Tony C well enough to call him a good friend.  The others sadly I only met very briefly but I hope from meeting them in the flesh friendship will grow.

As you say, excellent week end and as I understand it T. Marsdens sale made £85:000.  £75:000 for the VRs and £10;000 for the box pigeons.

I went today yes sunday is just as packed as a saturday, everyone buying at reduce prices,as the stall holders want to take back as little as pos

Enjoyed in though but as you say upstairs not many stalls as usual

I was in the show yesterday but never went to the pb stand as i had to meet some mates seen Swilcox Grengrass Bart and Ace(cheers for bringing that stuff for me Ace )

Went to the stand today and met Andrew but never seen 1 person with a pb badge on :o
