billy_g Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 i suppose everyone has had a bird come home like this, lost as a youngbird on its 3rd race otterburn 84 miles then decides to come home 9 months later its been living rough ,but what makes it get up and go after all that time ,it was reared late febuary so was only 5months old when it was lost its been away longer than i had it , i suppose thats racing billy

billy_g Posted July 7, 2007 Author Report Posted July 7, 2007 the bird was in good condition when it came home apart for the feathers they were well frayed ,treated her with a 3 in 1 kept her away from the rest of the birds for 7 days now she,s out flying back to normal , now comes the question do you give her a chance or in the bin

Mated up right away and was looking good 2x 20mile tosses and then in June flew 220m + 270m +290 mile races. Honestly could'nt tell you the number of times that hen fkew the channel. Guess what my advice is?
