PIGEON_MAN Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 after placeing a order with one of the bricon agents on sat, i was promised it would be here by tues, then wedn, now its supposed to arrive fri,i wait with baited breath >:any one else had to wait ;D I did have some problems weeks ago but i think this was simply because the systems hadn,t arrived in the country but as far as i know there should be no hold ups now, which agent are you dealing with
Ulsterlofts Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 Bricon couldnt supply fanciers in Ireland with the systems and guys had to have there money returned, the 2 agents have since packed it in and Bricon has said they will be appointing someone shortly. Most fanciers in Northern Ireland are using the Unikon System, the N.I.P.A. are the agents and have got a great deal for the fanciers, so no middle men are getting cash its all being done for the fanciers. The back up support has been fantastic and the system has worked like a dream.
PIGEON_MAN Posted August 3, 2007 Report Posted August 3, 2007 Ulsterlofts, would be very interested to know what the basic set up is being sold for over there,

gangster Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 WELL NOW BRICON HAVE GOT PROBLEMS IF YOU READ THE BHW WITH NON COMPATIBILITY..????????????
Fair Play Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 I think you will find that Bricon are meeting with the RPRA today and I believe it should be "Red Hot"
PIGEON_MAN Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Cant understand where the RPRA get the non compatability thing from as we and another club close by have used the bricon with other makes and had no problem at all.I can see the problem about being able to enter your own birds into the clock before allocating the chip rings to them but even then when you print out the list of birds it is just the same as any other system.
ACE LOFTS Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 i personerly think its a set by another ets company, i mean with telford and blackpool round the corner all u need is a little letter in the bhw and its gameover for the bricon as people who thought about having it i dont think they will bother and go to another ets company. this is gona bite bricon up the ass badley i think, but i do also think the this matter will get resolved in a week. if u get my drift.
REDCHEQHEN Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 I think Bricon have more than one type of market - and those with Unives 1.7 protocol are fine - but they have them 'be' for the belgian market - and this could be where the problem lies
PIGEON_MAN Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 i personerly think its a set by another ets company, i mean with telford and blackpool round the corner all u need is a little letter in the bhw and its gameover for the bricon as people who thought about having it i dont think they will bother and go to another ets company. this is gona bite bricon up the ass badley i think, but i do also think the this matter will get resolved in a week. if u get my drift. Think you got it 100% there Ace,that was the first thing that i thought when i saw it,I believe that the other big company thought they were going to get all the business and Bricon as surprised them.
gangster Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 sorry guys but i went to both ets demos here and if i had not bought the other1 first i would have gone with bricon as it seemed the only 1 that did meet the requirements....and yes it seems like a wee bit of bad sportsmanship here from another ets company who advertise a charge for unlocking its system to allow others rings..this is fact as its printed in there paperwork..............????????????????
DOVEScot Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Does anyone know what ETS system I would need for Cabin Boy staying in the Glenrothes area?
blackjack Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 All ETS systems should be checked by an impartial arbitrator approved by the governing bodies .Unfortunatly it has been a free for all with no controls which has caused these problems RPRA council did not think when they approved ETS what would happen a bit of commonsense and thought could have prevented this. Luckily are club is ETS free.
