Blackpool Badges

Was pm'd today wondering if this year will i be making Blackpool badges again, to which i replied was the dissappointment of last year of making so many for people that asked but very few being collected. However if there is enough interest i will make and design up a badge again this year. However i don't know if Pompey Mick is about he helped alot last year, with the printing and supplying of the slips, so if pompey mick is about or if not if anyone would like to take on that role, i'll happily make the badges, if you the members want them and will be willing to collect them! If interested please let me know

the blackpool badges were basically of this design chrissy, some over 45 were made, some were collected and a good few members were met and recognisable by there badge, at the past blackpool show

We are hoping to be at blackpool and have tried to get a night out organised, I think the count was about 11 last time the post was up.

Are the badges for wearing at the show or on a night out

You can wear them were ever, there was a few members who reported to me that they wore there badge the whole weekend day time and evening, hoping to bump into members either at the show or there hotels. i wouldnt know at the moment chickadee havent got my thinking cap on tonight to behonest, but like last year as the ladies asked for a his and hers badge will be also happening. If anyone would like to put in a couple of ideas for design i will try and put em together still plenty of time i aint planning to do the badges untill around a month and halfs time if enough are interested, so any ideas will be all appreciated

What about a white fancy bird for the females, and a coloured fancy bird for the males? ;D

what about the racing fanciers? i will take it into consideration and will draw up A fancy breed, like a fantail or something in the next few weeks, if enough are interested. If use would prefere, and state what you go to the shows for Racing or Fancy i could put either a fancy or racer on ur badge

Naw one badge fits all, because I have not decided what to wear yet so I would need two if they were gender orientated ;)

yes even myself thought they were gunna be on wilcox stall last minute change to the pigeonbasics stall, were nobody couldnt seem to find.

Why not send an appropriate stamped addressed envelope to Wiley along with a donation for the badges :-/

What about if you charged a small fee this year say £1 a badge.members to pay the pound before you made the badge,the money could go to help run the site or if Richard prefered he could present it to a charity of his choice.
