carl Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 How come its impossible to get a draw in a pigeon race, surely its possible for 2 fanciers to be flying the same distance at the same time and clock in the same time with same velocity, how do you then decide the winner. sorry if im being thick here but cant get my head around it.???????????? thanks
carlsberg Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 never had a draw but lost a race by 1 yard
Roland Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Goes down to decimals, and there are oft many draws as you call it ... joint is perhaps more apt.
Merlin Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 Not saying what you say is impossible, but when you get down to hundreds of a yard, but when you can win/or lose by one hundred of yard its very unlikely.if its reading the same after this ( I think) its brought down to thousands of a yard.
Roland Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 E.T.S. CAN SPLIT HAIRS They go by alphebet then ... after part yard. Seen 38 timed in together with same time, yes all with the same time - as I posted on here the result sheets, not one but several - yet all the ET did, and possibly could do was goe via the alphebet.

Tony C Posted February 11, 2008 Report Posted February 11, 2008 A few years back I was 2nd club but ended up joint first fed, how come? The club went down to the third decimal but the fed only went down to the second decimal lol was it a winner or not :-/
jimmy_bulger Posted February 12, 2008 Report Posted February 12, 2008 no such thing as a draw in pigeon racing, but you can be joint 1st 8)

Guest slugmonkey Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 look at the arrival sheets I have never seen a tie on these again you guys are talking about the results sheet printed by the program that figures results and NOT THE ARRIVAL SHEETS they are 2 diffrent things and you should use them to break all ties I have never in the 5 years that I have been on the club board of directors seen 2 exact times ON THE ARRIVAL SHEETS not the club result sheets do you understand they are 2 diffrent things I think this is more looking for a problem where there is none
carl Posted February 14, 2008 Author Report Posted February 14, 2008 if you can show me a result with a draw on in pigeon racing and not a joint 1st then i will show me *expletive removed* mate. jimmy no body is saying this has happened and we defo dont want to see your backside. i asked the question because i was confused to why 2 birds couldnt draw,if 2 birds finish joint 1st then is this not a draw, lets not kick up any fuss about it its just a simple question. Slugmonkey nobodys looking for any problems mate,
Merlin Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 In agreement Jimmy expect the *expletive removed* showing bit, chiefly because the supply might be greater than the demand, one of the reasons for one thimble one race rubber rule, now is this capable of being done with E.T.S ? if it is then arent R.P.R.A breaking what is still an existing rule
cabuta1 Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 joint 1ST sounds ok, but you would win by a cheak ;D
cabuta1 Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 if you have to show your *expletive removed* jimmy will it fit in a pen ;D
Guest slugmonkey Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 What strain is your *expletive removed* ? is it a distance *expletive removed* or a sprinter I hope its not a dark cheq
