jonny Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 hi everyone , using unikon ets for the first time yesterday and the probable winner put his pocket clock in the club system to print his arrivals and the print out only recorded the pigeons in the order they came in and instead of the time clocked. it displays some sort of code L C E 1 tried phoning the support line and was given a mobile no for ray knight still no answer. club rule is no vel no prize , so I would appreciate any help for this flyer of fifty years ( who embraced ets ) thanks guys jonny
Guest milkyal Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 did you try again or did you only ask for one sheet? Always ask to print two off as sometimes it prints your birds why i dont know?
PIGEON_MAN Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 Was his pocket clock placed into the base station before the birds arrived.
Williedoo Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 This will happen if the clock has never been in the base station before the birds arrive.
CREBAG Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 The above reply is correct, LCE1 means the fancier never placed his pocket clock into his base clock before the birds arrived, so effectively the clock never knew he'd sent them and timed them in as trainers.
jonny Posted July 27, 2008 Author Report Posted July 27, 2008 pocket clock was put in base clock on friday night screen read marked 15 birds . the guy flies next to me and I checked it all before and after race birds arrived . first race using ets so phoned 2 friends and the displays all read the same feel guilty because I showed him what to do but I checked his base clock and it recorded the birds times and ring nos from racepoint before I removed his pocket clock. he was 6 minutes clear of me but as it stands I beat him ........... NOT ON NO WAY
alex wight Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 It realy does sound as though the clock wasnt in the base station to start with, that would mean the birds would arrive as trainers. Listen m8 dont feel guilty we all have to learn and i,m sure the guys will appreciate that. I had the same problem, and it was as i say, the clock wasnt in the base station beforehand.
Guest milkyal Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 Was the clock put in before birds arrived and then took out. If so was it then put back in before you striked it off. Not saying your a fool or anything but we had that in our club, so the member went home and put it in, all was ok then.
jonny Posted July 27, 2008 Author Report Posted July 27, 2008 pocket clock was put in on friday night and wasnt removed untill after 9 birds had arrived same as my own and my friends . the screen was showing the birds and the racepoint
Guest milkyal Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 If that was the case mate i aint got a clue. But i would like to know what chris at unikon has to say.

Taylorsloft Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 some people saying the clock was not in the base station
me Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 Lots of cheap STB's on the go lads saves all that hassle and pash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ChrisMaidment08 Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 seems a lot of fanciers with all types are saying birds not being recorded good for a stessfree life
THE FIFER Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 how close is his antina from his base station, if too close can get problems, was it ok at marking, was his printout he got then ok, if the birds were on it as they arrived but no time, sounds to me it could be something not right at marking, this is only my oppinion by the way,
THE FIFER Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 our club has had the UNIKON for 2 seasons now and no problems,
HOMER49 Posted July 27, 2008 Report Posted July 27, 2008 Hi Are your clocks upgraded to 2.87 The 2.87 upgrade was to fix this little problem. When the pocket clock is placed in the loft clock it the pocket clock tells the loft clock the correct time We had a case that a member timed 5hrs before lib but showed LCE 1 Tip when you place the pocket clock in loft clock watch it for 4/5 seconds If the seconds flash or stall remove and place in again Cheers Homer 49

Williedoo Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 The Unikon Professional can be put in anyway round, but it is best if the arrow is facing you.
PIGEON_MAN Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 The Unikon Professional can be put in anyway round, but it is best if the arrow is facing you. Sorry for the mistake have never seen the Professional thought they were all the same.
Williedoo Posted July 28, 2008 Report Posted July 28, 2008 Thats the one most people have up here, but would make more sense if it could only be put in one way like the Champ.
