no ,no one was ,but there are guys who will keep turning up trying to get birds,they get a few ,and then get greedy and keep turning up sometimes expecting more ,like it is their right,its nice when guys offer you birds,but i have had my share any more would be greedy

cheers for the offers guys but i am not on the "ponce" here just pointing out the who/what/where, i have more than my share of help from the guys on this site;birds/advice and sometimes more important a bloody good laugh,but sometimes it does get ruined by people who's whole point of being on this site, is to get their own back for a certain banned member[my view only]

 

THAT thought never crossed my mind i just like the way you keep going no matter what is put in front of you and dont let the bad members put you down because you are worth 10 of any of them

Ive been reading with interest these posts cant imagine any decent fancier slaging of a novice.im sure at one time or another we were all novices.as someone said before with chrisss attitude he wont be a novice very long.il make mavericks offer up to a dozen and i dont think your ponceing ybs chrisss thats not your style mate 8) 8) 8)

To me its should be about dicussion, and as most of us who have been on the site from the start are known to each other i think we get on well enough, however every now and again we have members join under and anonimous username and cause havok!! These guys should be removed quicker.

 

As for the for sale bit remember the site cost money to run and providing people donate back to the site its useful to richard.

I can't remember Timbarra getting banned, nor the posts leading up to it.

Must be a dizzy age thing. But I will I speak as I find.

It is disgraceful that he was banned, - may have had warnings etc, who knows, who cares.

But that fella took more than his fair share of crap and abuse. The very things that certain ones DID to him, and now spouting like the clappers about folks that do it!!!

So he sold a few birds, so he wasn't racing at the moment SO WHAT! he was up front, but nigh everything he said was nit picked. Never mind But.. If... it  was, unfair from the start... If my Aunt had balls she'd been my uncle! springs to mind. It did escalate, and continued to do so. But those who were doing the nit picking were DOING exactly what this site is now trying to condemn!

Yes I know a couple had a ding dong with him, both more than capable of holding their own! And they weren't novices, or new comers. And they more than held their own.

Heard he was more than a bit strong with a post! So knock the post off and telling to leave it! Golly there is a very large amount indeed of posts removed, but don't see any of them banned.

have I met Timbarra? Yes. Did I, or do I like the fella? Well I could take him or leave him. Not my cup of tea regards socalising I'd say. Never be a bed mate and that's for sure. But he deserved better, and should never have been banned from what I saw of his posts... A pendelum swings both ways to work!

But the pack followers certainly did more than snap at the tail, and that's fer shure!

This site is mainly for the benefit of Pigeons and their fanciers.

Charactors, likes and dislikes should be laid aside and disregared. Yes by all means protect the novice, but don't crucify anyone that has a dig at one, for when they first come on 99% of us don't know that they are novices. Sooner pointed out sooner fixed.

I for one would certainly hold my hands up if deemed out of order, and I am more than willing to hae things pointed out to me.

If I felt it was put over in a degrading, insulting way then YES I am able to come back at it for sure. A novice might not be quite so able... But then when pointed out that would never arise, because 99% of the posters on here are big enough, genuine enough to say 'Whoa, sorry, i didn't......' So no problem there FOR SHURE!

Is it not the fact that Joe61 is Tmbarra's dad. Personally if my son was treated unfairly in any walk of life I would be miffed as well as I am sure the vast majority of members would.

The fact that Timbara was banned and no explanation given, the same as I was given a user warning with no explanation or allowed to discuss why by the webmaster.

Timbara was never my favourite member in the way he conducted himself but it seems you can upset certain members on here as long as you don't upset certain ones. Also you can behave in certain manner as long as you don't upset cetain members :-/

Personally if anything is said on the site regarding me I am quite willing to discuss it openly on the site and would rather it run it's coarse for every one to see and make their own judgements. Bearing in mind I have been called a number of things on this site including a pervert by one of the moderators on the site :-/

never thought i'd disagree with 1 of rolands posts...but i do. as for dovescots father/son thing ...it sounds like the father is out for revenge (are you endorsing revenge). if i behaved  badly my father he would soon bring me up sharp. whilst your input is wise dovescot you do seem to have to have a personal problem with the moderators. well having disagreed with 2 of the sites biggest hitters it's the bunker for me....nice knowing you
