all good fun there but think its lost its appeal now the winter gardens last year was pathetic packed solid couldnt move and not many stalls there either i think they should move it from blackpool to london my self and swap it around every other year i get sick of traveling 5 hours there and then bk again   :(

and can you recommend a venue big enough to house this extravaganza , that big tent on the thames maybe after all what does it get used for now terry and think of the accommadation how many tents can you get up on wimbleton common

well i'd agree that it was packed hot and sweaty and you couldnt move and there was probably less stalls in recent years even if there was more E.T.S stalls , i would like to see the venue in a more centralised location , but defo not in London that would kill it everyone willing to pay a congestion charge ? think not

I think you would be hard pushed to get the venue and the accommodation that is on offer altogether at Blackpool for the numbers that attend also the clubs and pubs for the mass exodus all at one time:-/

Agree with you there Dovescot Blackpool with all it's hotels and pub & clubs,not forgetting the winter gardens is the ideal place to host the show and i think it would struggle to cope with the numbers anywhere else..

What about Birmingham NEC, thats pretty big and I know they have used it for dog shows, so no problem with animals

But I'm not sure about accommodation and bars around there, I guess the Blackpool weekend is about the pigeons but the atmosphere of Blackpool makes it

I have done loads of events at birmingham bothe NEC an NIA and altough it is a great venue you will not get the accommodation and socialising as close to the venue as you would at Blackpool, and probably not as cheap either  :-/

You won't get the same atmosphere as the pubs and clubs around the NIA and NEC are always used where at Blackpool it is closed season and open purposely for that w/e and you would not get all the sales in the hotels central to the event  :-/

And Birmingham hasnae got a Central club thats only 5 mins from the show good acts cheap drink and only a couple of £££ tae get in

looking forward to meeting people on the pb site in blackpool next year missed it last year because my boy was diagnosed with cancer cant wait for it brilliant weekend
