T_T Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 Went to my local corn supplier today for my winter supply of Beans and Barley. Barley quoted at £7:50 a 25k bag and Beans at £10 for 25k. He then told me that to buy the Beans in, one supplier quoted him £14 for a 25k bag Talk about jumping on the Band Wagon, I was thinking about throwing myself under it. Dosn't look as though there's any going back either. Don't know if there much cheaper up North.
Roland Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 Can't get tic beens either. I like- personally a tic one day, a wheat and barley mix next, and groats, with a little rice next. Always a little linseed before each feed. Have to substitute Maples for Tic beans. Yes and one day a week, the fourth day a Canary and small seed mix. Trouble is if not careful they just want the wheat and barley mix. So awkward if Hopper feeding of course.
