Blue Tooner Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Jakies distance is approx. 352 - 353 miles, vel should be around 1378.
Blue Tooner Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 I do not know Jakies exact distance, but have guessed at roughly 352 miles 1000 yards. Flying time 7.5 hours giving him vel. of 1378. Walter Masson of Inverallochy flies 352 miles 423 yards and stays not far from Jakie, so I won't be far out.
Williedoo Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 what distance does w hay fly and what time was he in?geordie maclean has a good 1 4.49 flying220 Think you are talking about two different races because that woud be 100mph.
Williedoo Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Before anyone else PMs me about my above post my friend George(clockman) has kindly pointed out I cant read. ;D ;D ;D
Guest Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Before anyone else PMs me about my above post my friend George(clockman) has kindly pointed out I cant read. ;D ;D ;D should of went to specsavers,(evil)
Blue Tooner Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 If the Mclean pigeon is in at bang on 4.49pm and his distance is bang on 229 miles his vel. would be 1556. so does look like he could have the winner as the hay pigeon at 17.46 over 259 miles is doing 1442
Blue Tooner Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 My mistake misread 229 miles instead of 220. Any chance of a lift to specsavers Williedoo?
