Michael J Burden Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 Well ine was 59th and I have money carried over and I will be happy at that. As to the TV he did make himslf look silly but this showed that he was passionate allbeit a greedy man. Like many fanciers and folk I come across everyday. Give him a little credit he has come from nothing to a sucessful businessman. Roll on to next year this has been the worst year in my memory of pigeon racing This is the last time, I promise, that I look at or contribute to this thread, all the best see you at the winter events, maybe,.

Guest milkyal Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 There has been a few posts on here about transfer of birds, dont know if this has been put on the site, but was just looking at the entry form and noticed this All Birds will remain in the name of the original entrant until they return from the main race, any birds lost will remain the responsibility of the entrant to either:-
ChrisMaidment08 Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 rpra rule broken again the club given licance for this race should be thrown out
ChrisMaidment08 Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 return to loft or activate remaining birds money for old rope this one loft stuff
speedbird Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 i agree the one loft races are a bad thing, but i was stating the birds wasent lost on purpose as now they have no birds to sell as they have lost em all,so how has loosing the birds made em money
Guest strapper Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 i agree the one loft races are a bad thing, but i was stating the birds wasent lost on purpose as now they have no birds to sell as they have lost em all,so how has loosing the birds made em money losing the birds hasnt made them money! they had their money b4 the final race! i think im right in saying that the sale of birds at the end, is shared with the owner and europa....hence more money.

collins and stevens Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 Pools for race now on line on Europa site.....12th bird wins over 4000 pounds ....spoke to its owner before outcome of race as he helped out in the office etc , told me he had 64 birds in the race which were sold birds under "venturer mw" heading. His birds that were in the race he had invested heavily in to (dyserth loft birds) the tune of 2400 pounds in pool money !!! But I suppose you've got to speculate to accummulate eh ? Bit rich for me though pretty short odds in my opinion.

collins and stevens Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 His birds entered under venturer mw were on open sale.....his own entered birds were under dyserth lofts think he had 7 birds in ....just my jaw hit the floor when he said it cost him 2400 pounds to pool them.....still he's shown a return !!
