Guest IB Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 CEMETARY THE BAGS IN QUESTION ARE 25KG I THINK UP IN SCOTLAND THE CORN IS A LOT DEARER THAN DOWN IN THE NORTH EAST,BUT MY WIFE IS SCOTCH AND WHEN WE USED TO COME UP THE MEAT AND BACON WAS A LOT DEARER BUT IT WAS A LOT BETTER QUALITY THAN DOWN HEAR,THE WIFE WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING ELSE BUT SCOTCH MINCE DOWN HEAR,MABE GETTING OFF THE RAILS A BIT NOW BUT ONLY COMPARING PRICES I buy mine in once a year. Think that saved me a few ££s as prices really shot through the roof in 2007 - after I got mine in. In 2008 I had to buy a few extra bags, with Bucktons 20kg breeders @ £12.19 and a racing mix @ £13.01 a bag. Can't believe the odd pennies Expecting 20 bags today, obviously expecting to pay well over £200 for that.
OLDYELLOW Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 it was a satisfying feeling filling back up at 99 p per litre i was glad to have an empty tank , but it needs to keep dropping , but like most of you say the breads gone down in the shops but i bet the corn doesnt go down so quick
Guest Vic Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 THANKS JIM. I,LL PM YOU LATER FOR DETAILS
Guest Vic Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 The grandson has been "dipping into" my hempseed recently for fishing purposes. So I thought, Why not get a bag of "anglers hemp"? which is a lttle plumper. The cost £28 for 20kg. as against, £17 for 15kg. of pigeon hemp. Have I been ripped off? lol.
Taylorsloft Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 dont no why you dont get a few boys from where you live and get a ton sent up at cost price from bamfords thats what wee doo its works out £3.00 a bag cheaper than buying in aberdeen
bobtail Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 that,s the best way to buy it mate it must save you a good bit so what is a bag costing ?
Taylorsloft Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 no matter what you buy its still £3.00+ a bag cheaper than anywhere in aberdeen
cemetary Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 What kind of food is that, that must only be bamfords you are saving on. Not versa laga as well surely.
cemetary Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 So if you buy a tone mixed corn, you are saving £3.00 on a bag of any vers laga corn.
