Trophies returned or not

When a club disbands should memorial trophies be offered back to the family that presented them or sold and the proceeds divided between members ?

Would think the decent thing to do would be return them, then the families can decide what they would like done with them. JMO

I would argue stongly they go back to the family to do as they please with them.

normally get offered back to the donaters first , or at least ask out of curtesy

Trophies should be offered back to the families who donated them, to allow them to decide what should happen with them. Memorial Trophies generally remain the property of the families who donated them.
