yes i use ground nut oil if the dropping are loose this is a very active oil and very good for nervous dissorders and extemely good for

P.M.V as i found out in the 80s

if u dont belive me buy some put it in your fridge and see what happens

not two much over the corn for a booster as it is very messy

i use flax, wheatgerm, sunflower and rape

i dont use cod liver oil in the mix  as it has to be kept cool when opened (fridge)so it cant atay in the loft in the summer as it goes rancid

i do use cod liver if i remember to bring some groats back to the house and i add cod liver to these and feed them first

i keep reading about hemp oil so i may try it

The oils I have used have been to mix the birds monthly probiotic and their food is in then mixed into that. Tried one of the cooking oils, found that too heavy and coated birds faces for days; tried hemp oil which was a really light oil and any staining about face was gone quickly (same day) - can't get that now, so of oils available on supermarket shelf, chose grapeseed to ty: again very light, birds also seem to prefer that to hemp (which had a distinctive smell and taste) and no staining.

Have just started to use hemp oil

Have used groundnut oil and grapeseed and use cod liver oil - which I do keep in the fridge- but hubby tends to pick up the first thing when frying his eggs and they never last very long

he's never noticed any difference in the taste of his eggs though (shrug)
