I never though buzzards took pigeons, but someone told me they did!  :-/

Only recently it has proven that if they are starving they will take birds (the news paper - buzzard took a wader).

i think thats why they are called birds of pray, anythings pray if their hungry, they even eat  beasties crawling about the fields,  sat and watched them doing it many times

just a large vulture of britain , it will eat most dead or injured things ,must have been desperat to have gone into a loft ,i just hope all the other BOP are having a hard time as well and most dont make it through the winter .

we have buzzards here all the time 2 or 3 at a time sometimes, never had a problem. i thought buzzards main food was rabbits. we also have kites here to and they are no bother to the birds, we also have the ones who do bother the birds, they're the ones to worry about.
