GRAHAM MITCHELL Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 Old Birds start 25th April and Young Birds 25th July. We are going with the S.N.F.C to Newbury ,Eastbourne and Falaise
hotrod Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 are these races part of the averages? and if so there will not be many left in for the combined average
GRAHAM MITCHELL Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 Yes Stewat they are all part of the averages. It will hopefully make a difference in our yearlings next season if we can get a bit of mileage into our youngsters this season.
hotrod Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 dont worry about the yougbirds mate you dont need to race them trust me
GRAHAM MITCHELL Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 We also have the option of going to Ypres with the S.N.F.C as we are able to get convoyed with them but it will not count in the averages. Some fed members felt 1 channel race was enough so they voted for it to be optional and not count for any trophies or averages.

Taylorsloft Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 hi graham,do you mean you basket in the national for newbury eastbourne and falaise?and class that as your club race as wellif so,wish it was like that down here ,save having to find different teams. aberdeen fed do the same
GRAHAM MITCHELL Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 Yes asha the birds are convoyed by the S.N.F.C to these races. There are also other federations in Scotland who will be going to these races with the S.N.F.C . It helps cuts costs for federations by not having to send their own transporter to these races with a small convoy.
hotrod Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 our fed glasgow and south lanarkshire does the same with the snrpc races at wanstead flats and arras or lillers whatever the race will be
frank-123 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 that's a first for you asha a nice comment on a thread are you going soft
GRAHAM MITCHELL Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Posted February 8, 2009 At the end of the day pigeon racing is expensive enough so any possible way of saving money in joint convoying is a bonus.
hotrod Posted February 8, 2009 Report Posted February 8, 2009 that's a first for you asha a nice comment on a thread are you going soft bart he taking his medication again lol ;) ;)
