hotrod Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 all local enquiries welcomei think its the wrong time to start out on your own mate im a joiner, tiler , plumber, spark, plasterer, roofer, i do decking , fencing, windows ,doors you name it mate , coservatories, kitchens ,bathrooms, you name it i do it and guess what, its dead mate stone dead out there
Guest strapper Posted February 15, 2009 Report Posted February 15, 2009 i think you have to put ur hand to something different to survive,im very similar to you hotrod m8,i do lots of different things...plumbing aint one of them though....i can do basic stuff in plumbing but know my limits. but most building jobs i can put my hands too and have done since leaving school. by trade im a stonemason/bricklayer but learned carpentry amongst others. my oldest son has followed in my footsteps by becoming a bricklayer..but ive already told him he needs to get some other professions under his belt...he,s 19.

A bloke told me that JOB means "Just over broke". I thought he was taking the --- then, but I know he was right now.
