les Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 who would have the best 500/600 blood in uk in my opinion there are a few hundred people out there all on par with one another when it comes to that sort of distance ,you are spoilt for choice ,there was one man that did stand out from the rest a few years ago but he is dead now ,JIM BISS ,and one that is starting to performe beter than most at the present time is GEOFF COOPER of bath .but you need a few quid if you go down them lines ,ATB les.

Who won it and was it a strong east wind?? In my opinion, any other wind and it is a sensational win especially now with very little birds going from the extreme west of Scotland. Am I right with my assumptions??

Who won it and was it a strong east wind?? In my opinion, any other wind and it is a sensational win especially now with very little birds going from the extreme west of Scotland. Am I right with my assumptions?? Don't know why people keep calling it a "drag up the east coast" when it is now almost their line of flight. After all a lot of the west birds are trained & raced up the east coast now. :-/

After all a lot of the west birds are trained & raced up the east coast now. :-/totally agree mate and im from the west,its the same as the nonsence about the snrpc going with the up north combine to 2 races ,and the west boys will be nowhere ,thats the way the birds race week in week out so whats the difference .AS someone has already stated good birds can fly into anywhere.TRUE there is more birds now going from the east side than the west ,but a drag ? i'm not sure .
