seen some trainers today when talking outside  it was baltic  to cold for me to cold for my birds

but i will miss the first two races

Hmmm a lot of yearlings here so they wont see a basket till mid may and I still aint paired yet but they are gonna go to Bordeaux 515 mile

Birds were trained yesterday - 10 miles - first chuck - it was a glorious day here

 

Basketing for first race is two weeks on Friday

same here peterpau, i got all yearling so will be late april or early may before

going in basket then in the nfc first race i train up to 50 plus miles starting of at 5 miles .

i never toss until my cocks are flying well for a hour roud the loft

 

same here..as a novice i learn't the hard way. i won't train 'til april (2/3/4 year olds)...then 3/4 tosses and in. but my yearlings will be held back and trained mayday bankholiday weekend.

i think its a wee bit warmer down south than it is up here in scotland, far too cold for training
