Guest Gareth Rankin Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 will there be a meeting on wednesday, to see if we are going to ripon next week why as there is only 20 + miles of a difference, and it has been clarified last year that if race cancelled or brought back then fed will carry on with race programme.
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 THE LAST 10 RACES IN LANARKSHIRE AND THEY HAVE NOT BEEN BY TOWLAW Yes we have only had 1 race past the 90 miles, bigda must be loving it

Guest WINGS 04 Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 you tape mesuring gareth, hexham to wakefield 20 mile more the birds should be going to wakefield
Guest bigda Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 you tape mesuring gareth, hexham to wakefield 20 mile more we cant do that, we need to take them in stages whats the rush
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 we cant do that, we need to take them in stages whats the rush because that,s what was passed at the meeting to discuss the race programme, why change this decision as Ripon is 147 miles and Wakefield is 28 miles further at 175, not exactly a big difference even for you bigda who gets a nose bleed going by 100 miles.

cowly7 Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 Does thats not just apply to young ones?? taking them back to the original race points.. might be wrong but.. :-/ :-/

ALF Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 Was it not said at the AGM that we could drop 1 of the comeback races if we had a problem like yesterday where we had to come back to a shorter racepoint and then revert back to the programme?
cowly7 Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 According to the FED BOOK CONSTITIUTION OF RULES NUMBER 32 (a) in old bird races, will have the power to bring back to another race point or return them to the club. ( in young bird races, can bring them back to another race point or return them to club. The birds will return to the missed race point the following week and races put back a week.
Guest bigda Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 Was it not said at the AGM that we could drop 1 of the comeback races if we had a problem like yesterday where we had to come back to a shorter racepoint and then revert back to the programme? yes alf, there was also photos to be taken of lib sites, mobile calls to be maid, birds to stay at sites, and be on site on time, water to be checked sites to be use with facilities for drivers and convoyer hygiene, it was never mentioned that we jump races if the transporter stayed we would have raced today or Monday from ripon, thats what was agreed
hotrod Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 the birds should be going to wakefield spot on post big stuff
hotrod Posted May 10, 2009 Report Posted May 10, 2009 It will be Ripon no doubt about it. might even be another hexham
