Now up to 13/22 Lanarkshire should never have been at Wakefield, the poor returns are not down to peregrines. It is all down to the fact that there was no race last week and then the jump to Wakefield. It should have been Ripon today another poor decision. :( :( :(

Dont agree as south in the wind they should have tumbled in, and with the first pigeons in the fed doing more than 50mph.

I THOUGHT YOU HAD DISTENS BIRDS SO THE JUMP WAS OK WHEN YOU THINK THAT IT IS ONLY 26 MILES FROM RIPON TO WAKEFIELD IT RACING PIGEON WE KEEP AND THAT IS WHAT SOME PPL FORGET

How many inexperienced yearlings, that have never been beyond 100 miles and only been to 87 miles this year have you to come then.Ripon would have been a better option for them especially on the basis there was no race last week. Then the jump to Leicester would not have been so sore as they would have had a race the week before.

dont think it was just the hawks bart causing the ERATIC RACE to many feds liberating at roughly the same time within a small radius this causing a lot of clashing just hope they learn from it.

you have to check out where all the other feds are liberatinng from and at what time to try and avoid clashing as much as possible, not just the weather that has to be checked, Jim Hannah was an expert at checking out where all the other feds were and tried to work out  where they would be at a time compared to Lanarkshire, that was one reason he had a lot of later liberation times, hope all the birds work home

85 mile jump in a tail wind should have posed no problems, if we had done what you wanted we would have been jumping from Ripon to Leicester 100 mile jump in what might have been a head  wind after getting a tail wind the week before and flying only 3 hours.

great post tam think jittery jim liked some sun on there back and other feds to go first

he did say to me he made a big mistake the birds should have been at the racepoint last week which you have got to admire the guy  for saying he made an *expletive removed* of it

lets give budgie the backing he needs as we can't keep getting rid of controllers

sorry vincent ive got to agree with gareth here.an 85 mile jump should not be a problem especially in a blow home .i put my good  silver hen out today for her first race of the season (250) miles ,4th bird to loft ,no problem with 250 mile jump ,i have 11/20 from newark after a 7:45 lib

jim every body is entitled to there opinion and thats mineall the feds that were at selby and newark were up at 06.30 so they wouldnt have been that far of us when we got up plus there were several feds going south going into wales and southern england which are hard to avoid but as gareth said all the experainced birds are home so probablythe  jump has something to do with it who knows but it was very eratic my own returns are up to 27/36 so there still struggling through cheers davie
