JADE Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 Nope.... East.. Or section B C i predict the winner in section A
b.massey Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 i predict the winner in section A Yeah good chance... I just have a feeling for B or C... Just hope a good amount make it through... Would really like a north bird to do it... Would be top achievement that
Novice Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 It's unlikely the west section will triumph simply because of the difference in terrain from one side of the country to the other-----I think they actually need a south easterly wind to let this happen. However I hope they do triumph and that returns will be good.
jimbhoy29 Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 all the best 2morrow to all thats entered the newbury national need to go early start 2 morrow
elanco Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 Terrain.....must have missed the bighills etc when driving through to the west, would e nice mind to see a west bird win it, good luck to all members :)
Guest IB Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 Think its a light east wind for the first few miles turning north east and getting stronger / gusting, the farther up country they come. Be interesting to see if the convoy splits between east & west in the midlands or go west of pennines to keep in the lee, and out of the worst of wind. All the best to all who are in the race.
Chris Little Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 I reckon the winner will be in Eastriggs...... a good clubmate of ours
Guest Vic Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 Different locations, but if your lib coincides with the Liverpool birds, Yes! the winner will be near Eastriggs.
