I see its £20,000 first prize and not the £21,000 they first put on the website, but the maths are still the same. 9,000, 8,000 and 3,000 they must have miscalculated or a typing error!

Birds up at Hexham Racecourse 6.45am, and they expect a 6 hour fly! Good look to all who have pigeons in the race!

Visibility about 300 yds here low cloud and light drizzle.. has been like this for a few hours now.  I hope the birds havent got this weather for any amount of time

Looking at XEweather.com it says mist is coming down later today after drizzle, hope that's not the case.

There's loads of us with iphones down there so in theory we can update in seconds on here if we can get a signal, not sure about the organisers though.

weather still terrible here..dont think many pigeons would fly far into this..was supposed to have lifted but it hasn gone away visibility slightly worse than before.
