think this case proves that the uk is fast becoming a nanny state :( :(

they also go on the size of your garden that baffles me  as if you had a small garden you could have a smaller loft with less pigeons as if you had a bigger garden you could have a bigger loft with more pigeons  :-/

There is allways 2 sides to a story and I see the guy as been fined for a breach of planning and also for using a shed that as not been authorised for keeping pigeons, sorry but only his self to blame.

tend to agree as it seems a bit odd...so there must be more to it.  there should be a compromise available....what a waste of court time

Yes there is 2 sides to every story, but it seems you have made these guys guilty before hearing the other side. Well done for your true support in this situation :-/

Is this what our world is coming to?

Laws are laws sorry but if he,s broken them I,ve no simpathy for him,I would imagine a lot on here had to get planning permission to put up their lofts,if the council says one thing and you do the opposite then I,m sorry but its no good complaining afterwards.

Agree not all laws are good laws but if they are in place surely the best thing to do is obey them,as for being guilty of what,it says, in breach of planning, and unauthorised use of a shed, weather I think it is a crime doesnt matter the fact is he as broken laws end of.

Maybe a counciler, or a Lawyer,  ;D ;D ;D ;D

No just a ordinary pigeon fancier with sense,no good moaning after getting caught breaking the Law,even if you think the law is stupid.
