Guest strapper Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 how can a company reverse the call charges without getting your permission first or am i just being a bit thick :-/ debs when you say hello youve already accepted the charges...dont know how they do it..but believe me its true.
JADE Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 thought you got asked if you will accept a reverse call charge and are given number so if you dont recognise number you can refuse to accept
DJ Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 as jade said i thought they asked u first but at the end of the day im taking no chances and have blocked the number on my fone so thanx strapper debs
Guest Jargre- Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 They can't charge you and can't reverse the call charge without going through the operator, check this site out, they are a loan company http://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/01252555077/9 what probably happens is they stay silent and then hang up, being a curious bunch as we are we phone them back, that's the only time a charge is incurred and its not by them but by BT

cowman Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 what i do if they call me i always ask them to hold and then put the phone down and carry on doing what i was as if they ring you its them that has to pay the call .
Roland Posted February 13, 2010 Report Posted February 13, 2010 Wouldn't doubt it though. Remember when I used to get 'Pop Ups' and when you clicked on Delete it actually set you up... they had swith the Delete with the Agree tab. Took time to sort, and as it was running till you realised or logged of the P.c. costs were high. Think i got caught for £35 and spent yonks trying to get my money back. Which I didn't.
