Wife went to pick up wages on Friday and could not tried again Saturday morn still could not. Got  mini statement and some B------d has  cloned my card and lifted £600.00 out of my account. I live in Ayrshire and my cash was lifted from a machine in Chadwell Heath at 06.14 Friday and 06.17 Sat morn. I was lucky enough my wife noticed and the card is now cancelled and the bank has called in police. So beware when going to cash machines.

Spoke to girl at fraud department and they have cancelled card straight away. Should get money back after an investigation by police. It just shows how easy these things happen.

hi grahame this happened to me a few months back we were on the iow when someone drew money in the philliphines lucky only £40 was taken luckly the bank stopped my wifes card knowing we couldnt be in 2 places at once hope you get it sorted cheers vinnie

i didnt think that cashpoints give £600 only up to £300 at one time  :-/

and if your wife went to the cashpoint friday night she would of still got £300 out if there was £600 because they didnt lift the other £300 intill 06.17 sat morning. dont add up to me :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/

She could not lift £300.00 on Friday afternoon as they had lifted it on Friday morning. She also could not lift it on Saturday at 11.30am  as they already had been to the cash machine.  By the way i can lift £300.00 at a time with my card.

my son had this kind of thing happen last year..they were spending his card in swansea and hiring cars...it was only 45mls away and the police 1st thought it was him...but while being interviewed by the bank within the time he was questioned another sum was withdrawn.

it was touch and go if he was gonna be blamed for it.

its the banks problem so they should see to it to refund any amount taken.

he had all money refunded....then told the bank to go forth and multiply...changed his bank.

sorry to hear about this mate i dont trust the cash machines me or the misses always get our money out straight from over the counter at the bank seen a documentry last year how easy it was for someone to put false front on the cash machine so never trust them now i hope you get your money back mate and they catch who ever has done this im shore they should be some cctv attive near the cash machine so all the police have to do is rewind it back to when the cash came out and then you got who ever has done it on cctv
