PATTY BHOY Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 question for all fanciers without their lofts at their back door, what is the distance from your house to your loft and does it cause any problems.

JAS Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Mines about 3mls in a compound. Look out my house window onlt about 1/2ml but have to go around and over the bridge to get to the loft. All water has to be taken to loft aswell.
Guest strapper Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 nearest loft is 20ish ft away... but i have a very high back house roof.
red grizz Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Hi Patty, My loft is about two miles fron the house and to be honest I find it much better for a number of reasons. It stops me getting lazy knowing I have to tend to the birds, there is no mess in the garden, no complaints from neighbours and best of all gives me a place to get away from the wife lol.
