with all the update issues why havn't the unions removed approval?

 

it would take a very brave union to do that now the way it came in its now bullet proof would cost a union a fortune to put it out now the makers can do what they want

Why?

If the unions said "only systems registered befor X date" would be accepted then Unikon wouldn't sell another unit until the problems were sorted out!

Do you think they'd react to that?

you have to remember the extream things some of the ets manufactures went to to get it passed to the point where they used  the disabled people as cannon fodda so what grounds are you going to remove it for because they are putting there prices up or they want to charge for things they gave for free to get it in dont think so just the fear of litigation is enough to send any commitee running for cover the damage is done we now need to live with it JMO

Not defending UNIKON(I have Bricon no charges YET) but when you think of all the club units etc they gave out for free it must of cost them thousands,so charging this £65 pound is just getting some of their money back.

the rpra council caved in . we should have had a loft vote , having said that i would have voted ( yes ) but i do think it would have been a majority ( no ) vote .

i agree 100% with every thing you said but its done now so we have to live with it now as stb  said you dont need to buy/use that system its only the fanciers to force the companys that are doing this that they wont stand for it hard if you have paid hard earned cash to buy it but if you let it go any further no one will be able to stop them

Bricon seems a more favoured system but try getting a lead from unikon to enable unikon users to mark on a Bricon system!

When i contacted Unikon, i asked the question, "do we need this £65 insurance", and i was told no its optional. I was not advised to take it or given the pro's and con's of taking it or not. So , the question is..... DO UNIKON KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING? and in my opinion, no they dont. They should all be singing from the same hymm sheet and telling everyone what is going on. I cannot accept that we need to insure something that doesnt belong to us. I agree that if malicious damage is done by the club whether it be deliberate or not, then the club is culpable. As sapper says, where is UNIKON when you most need them, knowhere, unless your willing to give them money. Very poor service  :-/

I think they do but require forms to be completed 1st but even after forms done still don't send them out!
