jimbhoy29 Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 true alf nobody would keep birds that cant fly 100.mls but the problem is when you start adding the afore mentioned it can cause problems,on race days birds take longer to clear site.cause some have not got a clue where to go gives the bops more scope to home in on them i will be dissapointed if i lose 1 at arniston. sent 20 should get 20..... why ppl send pigeons untrained just to tag along with the rest is beyound me
T_T Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Must have plenty of cash if people are sending them thinking they won't come back and who on earth would keep racing pigeons to compete if they thought they wern't good enough. Wouldn't of wintered them.
greenlands Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 I sent 16 with the intention of having a good race and getting 16 back, anything other than that would have went in the bin or stayed at home till they were in condition to come back.
holmsidelofts Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 who in their right mind would send a bird they did,nt think they would get home :o Especially when it cost £30 to get it back if you loose it and its reported. jas.
