no not at all. they are prity thick, sometimes not often youngsters first spins get close, the pole is actually in the next garden ,

It could be a cross breed :-/

 

that could be with my luck, I have dozens of carrion crows all around me ,they must all be asleep or out shopping,  ;D ;D

Not seen one in the wild, but 3 of my clubmates described a bird just like that - a white speckled or grizzled appearance to the breast - it was a goshawk.

mate that looks like a goshawk sorry to say or a sparrow hawk in the molt

looks to big for pergrine i would say definate goshawk or hen sparrowhawk

thats a sparrowhawk i ve been plauged with them this year they ve took 4 of my white duvs

 

Ithink that's a Gos. Say the pole is 9" dia. The s/hawk is 12-15ins. and the Gos is 19-24 ins
