Up here in the far north of the UK near Lerwick in the Shetland Islands I've had strays in from as far as Holland, Germany, Poland and Denmark.

Think I bred that Icelandic bird

 

Had a French younster came in wiith one of my birds from France

 

Had an yearling hen from France it came for an English loft and was  liberated previousw day from Nantes

Waiting for race birds with my late father,right through the door a cracking German cheq cock,tried reporting it,gave up in the end ,best thing I had done for a long time.
I have a 5year old german hen a cracking bird reported it twice no reply, there loss my gain.

this year one of my ybs flew to eindhoven of first training toss, told lady to stop feeding it 1 week later it was reported 40 miles from my home
