Taylorsloft Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 It should be a good racer if trained well will be a winner

Guest lenwadebob Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 I would say a good racing eye up to the 300 mile mark.
Guest WINGS 04 Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 I would say a good racing eye up to the 300 mile mark. why??????? as that is not telling what you see in the eye just you saying it will be a good racer
chickadee Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 We just watched a DVD by Versele Laga called Showtime and a few fanciers featured on it said that feeding affects the eye colouring, does this have any bearing on eye sign in racers???
Delboy Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 The eye tells me the condition of the pigeon, nothing more . For me ,it is the mirror of health and this pigeon is in good nick as the mascara round outside of eye indicates.JMO

whiteknight Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 The ones that have made a comment on this eye must be great fanciers or have a magic touch as there is no way i could tell anything about this bird with the picture that has been put up :-/ but ill have a go :-/ no i don't think i will .
kirky Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 We just watched a DVD by Versele Laga called Showtime and a few fanciers featured on it said that feeding affects the eye colouring, does this have any bearing on eye sign in racers??? feeding may affect the colour of the eye but it wont change the sign of the eye or the 5 circles of the eye.

DUBLINFLYER Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 thanks everyone for the comments..this is the 1st bird i have recently put up ...its one that will be for sale. nice bird wot breed is it?
Guest strapper Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 nice bird wot breed is it? one word....tasker!
leighton1984 Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 if you can see how good a pigeon will be by the eye you will get lost you can see some things but it can not show you if it is a smart bird or not. we all have eyes as a baby can you tell if some one will be a great footballer or rugby player from looking at there eyes no so for me you can only look for the condition of the bird from the eye as some things show up if you have ever seen it you will know what i mean. you have to look very deep in to pigeon and you will spot your pool bird lol
WHITTY Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 i am in the same opinion as whytenight very dificult to tell anything with this photo anyway eyes dont win races iremember one eyesigtn expert who charged lofts for his opinion told them to dump the rubbish in his opinion :-/ but they never kept the rubish to race agianst his picked birds to see if he was corect :-/
Guest strapper Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 as i stated earlier..i dont believe in eyesign, but its nice to know wot others think but they do say.... its better to have an open mind thats empty... than to have a closed mind thats full. ;D ;D ;D
pigeonscout Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 The fact that the bird is sitting on the top perch tells me more about the bird than the eye ever will.
leighton1984 Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 has the birds been placed they for the picture.
Guest strapper Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 the bird was placed on that perch...but he is deffinately one that goes to the top perches...and fights like hell to stay there.
